I think both of these look nice, you could take a sample of your mont blanc to pick out tiles in person and compare to make sure the black splash wouldn't be "too" white

We just had mont blanc quartzite installed and the white thassos tile backsplash just went up. Absolutely love how the backsplash complements the counters. Here's an in progress pic where backsplash still needs to be grouted and you're seeing the mont blanc on the island as the counters below the backsplash are still covered up.

Hi Kathy. We are doing matte black hardware, mixture of mostly pulls and some t-bar knobs.
