These illustrations are actually very similar to my wardrobe after I come in from gardening with everything stuck to me, including bugs embellishing my hair.

Have you seen the book Fairie-ality from the House of Ellwand ? It's an older book, Cinderlily is another flowery story that is wonderful.

Berrypie - LOL I've never heard of Cinderlily. The dress is cute!...My eyes don't really see detail on it...but that's my age talking. LOL

I don't remember how I stumbled across Fairie-ality and Cinderlily, they are unusual quirky books for sure, having elements of nature beauty , creativity , and innocent romance factor I love.

Berrypie - I just listened to a youtube girl read Cinderlily. It is cute. I love how the stamens become feet. :) :)

I guess from over a dozen years ago Cinderlily seemed more thrilling in my memory, the idea of using flowers as characters seemed ingenious. I should get busy pressing flowers for the granddaughters to make their own stories, the bleeding hearts are starting to fade and wilt.

Diane, you will have fun with your Fairie-ality book, it is inspiring and wonderful alone, but twice as good to read with someone.
