can you make a trip to an IKEA store. the layouts and organization of everything on display is really quite good. You can't miss with a white slab door style. You can google Ikea white kitchen and view completed kitchens w personalized details from all over the world. I heard Ikea is backordered and so on...so if you get to a store you should find out about feasability of actually getting this done by a certain time if thats what you want. Ikea kitchens go together probably pretty straightforward relative to other installs. If you waited until after your birth you probably wouldn't feel terribly disrupted for too long and some of the wait times perhaps would be improved. Given your situation I'd look into that aspect. Even the easiest of kitchen projects has stresses.....I think if you can, a postponement would be better for you.

IKEA offers kitchen planning appointments virtually and in-store. I just went through this process for cabinets in a laundry room and the planners were so helpful! They are very knowledgeable and have good suggestions. Basically you need to provide the dimensions of your space. It is totally customizable or they have kitchen sets that are sold as is for a smaller space. I was told these are popular for VRBOs and in-law suite.

I highly recommend making an appointment and going in store to test out all the cabinets, and see the drawer fronts in person. The kitchen staff are super helpful, the appointments are free, and also they will have a lot of suggestions you might not think of since they know their cabinetry so well! I just ordered a full kitchen with white Axstad doors! hope it comes before August... I hear they're having supply issues.
