Haha, sherry, little do you know I overwintered my first potted hosta last year. An extra piece of an Undulata Albomarginata. It was a trial to see if I could do it. It survived which amazed me.

Anyway, your potted arrangement and others are an inspiration to me to maybe try some potted hostas. I love the combination of colors and how the hostas appear tobe cascading down from the top. Very creative and lovely.

I gave a friend a whole bunch of undulata albomarginata one year as I was dividing. She laid it out beside her barn, on top of the dirt, and never got around to planting. Next spring, every single one sprouted. Just bare roots laying aboce ground in zone 5 Indiana :-). I wouldn’t recommend, but they did just fine.
