So in another thread I posted a pic of my Rhino Hide. I stated that I wasn’t terribly impressed with it so far. The other people in the thread said that it actually was a pretty nice example and not to mess with it. So I thought one odd thing about that plant. It is under a hummingbird feeder, and twice a week throughout the season when I change the nectar in the feeder I end up spilling some of the old nectar onto that Hosta. Not a lot, maybe a teaspoon or two at a time.

I remember reading somewhere along the way that sometimes people would give sugar to hostas, but can’t remember where I read it. Or what the reasoning was.

Is that a thing, or did I wander off into some crazy Hosta group somewhere?
