Thank you Mossy! I agree...I couldn't understand the zone differentiation at all for delivery time. Hope that means my order is on the way soon!

After my experience with Edmunds this year, I think that some vendors who are struggling with their stock and fulfilling orders are making hard business decisions that aren't great for their customers. I got my Edmunds order the first week of March (1-2 months later than our ideal planting time for bare roots). I received 5/8 of my bare roots in what I'd consider unacceptable shape. Two died to the bud union, and another two almost to the bud union. My gut feeling is that they sent me the crappier ones, b/c I'm in a warmer zone and getting them sooner, and these roses wouldn't hold for later shipment. So maybe they kept the better quality bare roots to send to the later customers. I didn't order from David Austin, but have read that they have struggled to fulfill their orders.

I know DA ships to colder zones last, so you should get yours soon. You can follow houzz north as people keep posting they got theirs.

Do you have an option of ordering from David Austin UK? There might be fewer governmental walls between you and the UK that between the US and Canada (even though we both know that migratory birds walk through the dirt in both countries, a steril wall is expected, foolishly).

Susan- oh no that's terrible! I have heard of past delivery issues with DA but one of my roses I can't find locally so I'm hoping for the best. Did they at least replace them???

Sheila - is that a specific thread or forum? I tried looking at the "far north gardening" but didn't really see it but maybe I'm looking in the wrong place...

Stillann - I don't think that's an option-i remember checking before on shipping info and Canada isn't an option. They don't even ship to EU now due to Brexit...

I meant people in the regular rose forum report receiving roses from DA in a sequential fashion as Spring moves north. As a business, they send to hotter before colder areas sequentially. They had made it up to Washington State and the Midwest.
