have you considered limestone or slate?

Those look great and blend well enough with the pavers to create unity between the two spaces. I would go with those.

I was going to suggest the idea of doing a faux finish stain on the concrete, but what you have in mind looks fine.

acid stained example of concrete patio area if you wanted a cleaner look as far as lines or separation, as to not take away from your pavers. Just using your colors from the pavers. Pic is just for example of technique.

i put slate 12 x12s down on my lower entry that look very similar to your samples. I am working on getting you color and brand etc etc etc. The one good thing about these particular slate muti-colored tiles is that they hide dirt well. i will find out tomorrow and respond just respond just as soon as i can.

I know cambigdog......I can't help myself! ha! I'm an artist, so of course I will usually lean towards something artistic and unique in design. Just thought it would be a good combo with your pavers as far as a complimentary, but different design or pattern. I'm fairly amazed at what people are doing with concrete these days....so many great options! :)

Don't know if you've already finished your project, but I am considering tile for my porch and a few discussions mention how slippery it is. That may be a reason to go with slate over porcelain tile. Just a thought, not sure how wet your porch gets, or if you get snow where you live, etc.

Thanks to all advice. We did end up going with a slate look but they are actually pircelain tiles. Took a while to decide but we are thrilled with the results.
