I think the island yes. But if you do half the desk it won’t look as built in anymore. So I’d either do the whole or none at all.

Hi! I am contemplating painting my kitchen island Urbane Bronze, as well as the base of my built-in kitchen desk. What did you end up doing?

@Lucia Wilke I haven't gotten around to it yet, but I've decided to just do my island. I'm also going to replace my backsplash. It doesn't show in pictures, but it is an ugly white that doesn't match the rest of the kitchen.

Did you go with Urban Bronze on the island? I would love to see a picture.

We ended up painting the island Urbane bronze and we are happy. We also replaced the back splash and painted our desk and cabinets Alabaster.

Thank you! We are glad that we did it. @gigi121 The rug is from Target- it is Threshold brand. Can you believe it? Ha! I think it is still available.

We used Canvas Tan for the walls and it worked out very well.
