its a rather garish color .. lol.. but just so stunning this time of year when everything else seems to be so pastel ... too bad it doesnt smell with the gusto of its color.. lol ...

Orange flowers have always provoked strong feelings- some people love them and others not so much.

Personally they're my favorite. I may have even looked around the other day and thought "Wow, you have a lot of orange out there."

btw.. in my cold z5 MI.... a lot of the Az/rhodie familly get a lot of winter leaf burn ... and the beauty of these.. is the deciduous trait ... no leaves to look ugly all year ...
