last fall I cut back five bridal wreath spireas to about 12 inches and moved them. They have been watered then and in spring. Winter saw deep snow. None of them has yet to produce a leaf. The stems are not brittle so I assume they may be alive, but is this normal? I thought spireas were indestructible.
