Hi.. The other night the countertop guy came to put something on it. I will take photos today. The seam just looked too white and rough. Not a clean line. Yesterday I was at work and the countertop seam to appear like a hairline or maybe more like a fine point pen. It looks better than my kitchen’s. Let me post photos of my work below.

Thank you. How do I say it nicely to the installer? Can he make the seam thinner and color matched? Thanks again!

As of right now my biggest concern that he is fixing 5/30 at 1415 is this. Seam on top of the drawer.

I would not be happy with that. Beautiful tight seams are possible if whoever is doing the work knows what he is doing. It may look better in person though

Later today the fabricator decided to cut the seam and joined them again. My concern is the glue, calk, sealant of whatever you call that adhesive between the countertop and the lumber support (that if there is because I don’t know); what is there in between the quartz countertop and the island/lumber support so that the countertop will not move? I know he did not lift that part of Quartz countertop and put adhesive underneath. Now that is a different topic and concern or problem if indeed it is going to be an issue.

This reno has me overwhelmingly stressed out and have learned a lot of things to share to other and for the next reno if there will ever be one more!
