So many choices. Take many samples home to test in your home. I tried at least 30. I did order a box of my favorite before ordering my final choice. I don’t like the bevel edge or a lot of gray variations in color the tile. Also, many have a lot of yellow in the lighter flooring.

Also, don’t go too low on price. Flooring should last for 15 plus years.

We are in St Augustine, FL with a pool amd on the intracoastal. Sliding glass doors and windows all facing east with many skylights throughout 2000 Sq.ft home with 8ft ceilings. Home was built in 82 and we are renovating the kitchen also. I do not like the color painted on the wall currently as it has gold in it and some areas looks gray, some looks celery. It pulls yellow out of all flooring samples we've tried. Furniture is navy blue leather couches, white bookcases, mahogany or dark round dining table and a few armchairs to be recovered. The main house is L shaped . Just moved in while renovating ! This is 10am lighting. Cream sofa will not be there, plan to put in an island and change/ add cabinets. Toying with white shaker cabinets or grey/blue (definitely darker island color.

With those 8' ceilings, I would change all the fans to ceiling huggers with NO LIGHT KITS. They really lower the appearance of the ceilings in your home.

The walls are very gray and a bright white on the walls would really punch up the appearance of the home.

The overstuffed furniture works against the contemporary style of your home. You can still have comfortable furniture without being engulfed in 10" of extra foam. Besides, it's not cooling in Florida.

I used NuCore LVP in Satin Pewter. It's brown but slightly gray. It has a casual look and it's not too dark and not too light.
