Kitchen complete!

We bought this house 8 years ago and there was so much we needed to finish (plus having a baby) that we finally got around to doing the kitchen and floors on the main level. We didn’t want to take out walls or enlarge the space as we wanted to keep our dining room. I am absolutely thrilled with the results.

After: custom walnut cabinets, natural white oak floors, limestone backsplash, silestone counter, Kitchen Aid ovens, microwave, and induction cooktop, Samsung smart fridge.

The cabinets and floors are both locally sourced Indiana wood.

I never posted much, but I perused the forums and photos and took much inspiration from this site, so thamk you!

Do you have dimmers for your above cabinet lights? You want a warm glow, but not so bright that they are the first thing you see when looking at the kitchen.

I'm about to do a walnut kitchen. What stain is that? I'm looking for something lighter, but it would be nice to have a reference point.

No stain, it is natural walnut. Supposedly it will lighten a bit with time.
