It has stormed off and on all morning so no pics today! The ones that are blooming are shredded. But you are correct-the rain is sorely needed.

I agree about some of the older ones being neglected in our posting at times. I have some I will always keep. The clumps are still looking good and the garden shots are striking as always. I wondered where Boss Hogg was this season!

Thanks Kate, Boss Hogg has been blooming, but just didn't fit it in until today. I find Kara Louise, Lillian's Vapor Trail, and Rosemarie Louise seem to be doing the best of my newbies so far...of course, they were new and potted last year. I have had an unusual amount of blooming this year for more than just the peak day. It has been so nice, but let-down has to be near.

Very nice clump of Man of Sorrows. I too like Handwriting on the Wall.

I know I responded earlier, but don't see it. Blooms all look good, I am liking Man of Sorrows, and Boss Hogg looks really good.

Beautiful clumps! I especially like Man of Sorrows and Handwriting on the Wall in this group. We've gotten a lot of rain from today and last night. It will be good for future blooms.

Thank you, Mantis, Nancy and Debra. I have had more high bloom days than usual during this peak. I am down a bit; only one 13 gallon bag of blooms instead of a bag and a the two previous days. I think taking down the Japanese magnolia helped with blooming on those that were too close to it.

Nice clumps! I think my favorite is Rose F. Kennedy and Emperor's Butterfly. I also like Boss Hogg.

Of course my first pick is the garden shots. Always enjoy seeing how you combine your plants. Man Of Sorrows looks very good in a multibloom pic. Wow, are you already at peak bloom? Seems like you just started.

Thank you, Julia. I am on the down side of peak. It is, as I expected, going a little bit faster than normal.

Thank you, Nancy. Julia, I have had blooms for a month but this is the first time I have ever had several days of Peak quantity blooms. I followed Dan Trimmer's advice to give the plants fertilizer in November, so I put fish emulsion around all of them. I used Osmocote in early spring and the blooms have been really good. I will posy Saturday's blooms tomorrow.
