@Carly Any suggestions for something different? Mirror width is 22”. this is the Mitzi Paige one from Hudson Valley, I liked the detail on it.

A few thoughts. How high are the globes and are you tall people? I think that would be a bigger issue to me. Along that line, can the mirror be moved down a few inches so the globes are mostly on the wall paper. Or are you married to the mirror more than the fixture? Would a shorter mirror be easier to replace?

I like the shape of your mirror with the wallpaper. the light is just not working in this application to me

I'd move the mirror down and leave the light in its current orientation. I like light that shines down to the subject, not illuminating a ceiling.

@Carly Ive actually looked at the rejuvenation one! its too wide unfortunately, it needs to be under 22”.

@RNmomof2 zone 5 the bottom of the globes are a little over 6 ft off the ground. Ceilings are 8 ft. Husband is tallest one in the family at 5’9, Im short. I can shift the mirror down about 2.5”.

Moving the mirror down will make the mirror look off.

I would look for a long tube light. Did you buy this in a local store where you can exchange it?

Or just leave it. It is okay.

I usually don't mind mixing metals, but in such a small room I wonder if a mirro other then brass was ever a consideration?

It's hard to know what would work better without knowing the height of the current fixture. I think it looks bad to have the globes hang down and reflect in the mirror, and think you can do better than how it looks facing upward.

This one is 7.5" high; is that much less than the current one?

That would frustrate me. For sure it is too close to the mirror. Up is the easy quickest fix but it gives you the opportunity to go with chrome to match the sink...and with the GRAY chrome works best. And yes that means finding a new mirror too. It's a beauty but does not go with the clean lines of the other fixtures. I think I would try something horizontal just for the effect.

@arcy_gw I definitely dont want to go chrome, thats would be way too matchy matchy for my tastes. im going to see if i can find a horizontal tube light, its hard to find something under 22” and in the right finish and not delayed by a year. Haha.

@BeverlyFLADeziner I looked at Chrome but because the room is so small, it was overwhelmingly chrome and looked basic. It does need warmth. Unfortunately that mirror is too wide, my sink is only 24” wide so i need something 22” in width or smaller.

@houssaon Its from Hudson Valley so its not returnable. But it was very reasonably priced so I can get another one if needed. Its just hard to find something thats under 22” in width and in the right color finish and looks cute.

I meant the height of the fixture, from the bottom of the globe to the top of the brass connecting bar. It was difficult to tell if the suggestions we were making with similar hanging bulbs were any smaller than your original (like the second one I posted says it's 7.5" high).
