Baseboard help!

We are renovating a 1969 ranch home with vaulted ceilings in the living room, dining room, kitchen, and master bedroom, and would love feedback on baseboard height. From what we read, 5.5 inch tall baseboards for the vaulted ceiling rooms will work best proportionallyo ally, and 4.5 inches in the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms with 8 foot ceilings. Our flooring contractor has a limited selection and we are going with a simple right angle design.

Do you think it is ok to have different height, same style baseboards in the house, or would you go with 4.5 or 5.5 inches throughout the house?

Different heights are ok! 5.5 inches in lofted ceiling rooms and 4.5 inches in 8 foot ceiling rooms.
All the same height! 4.5 inches throughout the house.
All the same height! 5.5 inches throughout the house.
