Just sharing a photo because it's so exciting... my Apache blackberries survived almost entirely without the usual winter kill or being eaten by rabbits, and for the first time in all the years I've grown them, I have bushes that are loaded with flowers that are all floating along the tops of the plants. :) I still need to clear out a few stems that didn't survive and I have no idea how I'll be able to thin out the new growth -- I'm not used to old growth surviving and being in the way. lol! Apache is a maintenance nightmare for me because it grows like crazy and so fast. It makes great jelly though! :)
