im not sure its salvageable ...

you also have it pot in pot.. which suggests the outer pot does not drain .. and that isnt good for a plant that doesnt like water ..

and you would be better off with a cactus media.. rather than the spongy water retaining media it came with ... especially with your proclivity to watering ...

i would just get a new one.. and get rid of this one.. just so i didnt have to look at it ...

they say.. you arent a real green thumb.. until you have killed every plant 3 times .. so be it.. we have all done it.. move on ...

Agree that jades don't like too much water. I'd remove the outer pot so that the soil can dry faster, and I'd cut away all the brown/yellow, soft, dead stuff, then put it in a very sunny window sill and don't over water it. If you're lucky, new shoots will grow from the remaining nodes. It will be good practice for you even if it doesn't make it. :)

Unpot the plant check if the roots are rotted. If viable, remove all rotted parts and pot in shallow small pot and keep out of direct sun. Then nurse it back to life. I suspect that the plant is too far gone to save.
