I am visiting the Atlanta area and saw numerous containers with the hanging green plant. Would love to know if anyone know of a local nursery where I can pick up this plant. Thanks in advance.

Sweet potato vine. This is a very common container plant in the Atlanta area. In the spring you would be able to find this in any nursery including Lowes, Home Depot and Walmart nursery centers. I haven't planted anything since late May so I don't know what the local inventory or selection of plants is currently.

The bright green plant is a sweet potato vine. I've used it containers before and it's lovely.

I believe so but I had a hard time in FL so I am hoping I get lucky here.

Michele- Maybe I can get a Hooker too while I am here. Does that clean it up. Probably made it worse.

Oh, it's gone from bad to worse, maybe worst!!! No one knows of the affair of the nightstands, unless they participated, lol. It's ok folks, it's just Hooker Furniture, it's safe to comment on this thread and let Angela know where to buy sweet potato vine in Atlanta area :)

Although ornamental my nursery swears you can eat the tubers at the end of the season!

That bright green vine, is a potatoes vine one or two will cover everything . Annual thought

It is an annual. Very fast growing, but you'll plant it in the spring. Not available now I think. I LOVE that green! Have it trailing in containers now.

Look what I found on my way out of GA. Home Depot to the rescue. Should I get two or is one enough.

Glad you found it. I would have gotten two but you are long on the road I am sure. It really looks great with a deep purple flower/foliage paired with it.

I got lucky at Lowes and picked up some smaller ones. So it should even the container out.
