Its not stainless steel it sounds like. If that is the case not much to be done.

So sorry this has happened...But if you do decide to replace the door, do it sooner, rather than later:

a) Manufacturers discontinue/change/update the models all the time, and their line up of models go through cycle of changes more or less frequently.

b) Because of Covid, parts and appliances themselves are not as readily available as they used to be.
