Love the bedding. Let your daughter pick out her colors from the bedding. Keep her involved in the entire process. If she has some input into the room, she will want to spend time in it, and maybe sleep in it all night. Make the room cozy and reflect her personality, and let her have a say so, in making it just for her.

Agree with earlier poster - at 8 have her input in picking out bedding and what color for the walls. Would choose a wall color that could grow with her as she becomes a teenager.

Use that bedding it’s adorable! Have someone paint all the furniture white! My daughter came in our room till 12…..then just stopped. Read her a story, hang up cute patio lights, leave the door open, to bed she goes

I'm in agreement with most of the above suggestions, including painting the furniture white, and using the unicorn bedding. The most restful and secure sleep is attained when the bed is placed opposite the entry door into the room. Looks like you show the door opening outward. I would rehang the door to open inward and from right to left, so when someone enters her room she can immediately see them from the bed. Blue will be a very soothing color and you should use some dimmable lamps on timers that can slowly darken the room as she falls asleep.

We painted her bed a turquoise colour she loves and the rest is still white. She loves her room now and that’s what matters most.

The furniture looks great with the cream color. Decide with your daughter the wall color and if she'd like an accent wall. (So she doesn't pick something outlandish, give her limited options, if you need to - since she likes blue and green, work out something with restful levels of either color... or something blue-green.) If she loves her bedding, a blue tone to the walls would work. See if there is some sort of art, or perhaps a poster, that she'd love to have on the wall, recognizing her tastes will change as she becomes a teen.

There is always, in ANY room, a first very good solution. Design is first do the thing that frees other decisions.

Paint this new furniture white. Doing that will freshen the bedding you selected. It will freshen and bring to life a wall color. It will survive decor changes as she grows and tastes change.

Why do people buy their kids adult beds? Twin beds are for kids all the way. If a child is 400 pounds, then sure, I understand that but why the need for this huge moose bed when children are so tiny and sweet?
