We have the WetEdge prism matrix plaster finish in our pool, and found that it's quite rough on the feet and skin. Every time we had kids swim in it, someone gets their skin scraped. I have asked the manufacturer who claims the finish should not be rough on the skin. However, looking at the surface it doesn't look like there is mineral build up to cause the roughness.I'm wondering whether folks who have this kind of pool finish can comment on how rough it is. Not sure if this is maintenance issue (chemical balance, but I don't see buildup on the surface), an installation problem, or something expected of the product. Here's a photo of the surface:
