I've tasted something that I had identified as a probable Morton Citrange, which was growing in someone's yard in Vancouver, WA. When you cut one open, it misleadingly looks like a delicious orange.

I and the homeowner think they taste horrible and inedible, but the homeowner says he has two relatives that say they kind of like the flavor.

Interestingly he also has what is apparently a special variety of pure Poncirus that I can stand to eat a little of. Doesn't have any of the horrible putrid "I need to spit this out right now" flavor that the (presumed) citrange has.

It is seed grown (McKenzie) so any taste is possible here from passable to hard poncirus
