MEan Green, but camera is showing the color totally off. Flowers are extra large and taller than it has been before, though, it really is talking to me. Unfortunately, I planted Rainbow dragon to the front/side of it. Have it move it, it is no match for Mean Green, he lives up to the name

Pleasing to the Eye

Cameroon Twister, to far in mid bed for me to deadhead well, but I always seem to overlook some anyway

That clump of Ashwood Still Night is striking. Exotic Starfish looks good, and so does Victorian Poet. But my favorite is Pleasing to the Eye. I like the clean petal color and the bluish eye, plus the garden art and the blue companion plant in the photo. So nice! What is the companion plant with Cameroon Twister?

Emerald Starfish caught my eye today, so did Scandinavia.

Bloom time for my daylilies is off here too. I enjoy seeing the clump shots, you get a true appreciation of the plant

Thank you Debra! The companion plant you asked about in both is a geranium, can't remember the exact t variety, but I think blue was in the name. It floats in, over and around all plants around it. Sometime late this month or early next it will stop blooming, leaves start to get crispy, and i can cut it back.

I have 4 black daylilies, Bela Lugosi, Evening Enchantment, Diana Granfell. They look very similar with Bela having the largest flower. Trying to persuade myself to get rid of at least 1, but they all bloom so well I am having a really hard time deciding. May be Diana Grenfell.. Lol, so hard to decide.

I really like the blooms on Whip City Fancy Free.. does it get plenty of sun? My two whip cities are different in that Flames of Haiti is very tall. but You've Got What It Takes is like yours, but it is so pretty it is staying...But, as I said, I like the color on yours. Your Mean Green is indeed a bit different but very nice. That is a lovely bloom on Exotic Starfish, Nancy.

Nancy: Mean Green was always a stellar perfomer in my former garden. I only wished I had gotten it potted and moved. The Whip City daylilies I grew from Lori Jones always did great though I did pick dormants and sev's. I noticed WCFF is a EV so that may or may not account for lack of height. Do you grow many EV's?

That is one lovely shot of Scandinavia-just seems to be floating!! What a clump of Pleasing to the Eye! And it lives up to its name! Same for Cameroon Twister-so pretty!

Kay, I am pretty sure the Whip City gets enough sun, it misses late afternoon sun, but gets about 8 hr. I think I got it from Laura, so from a colder zone than me. It comes thru winters just fine, but might still have an effect. This is its 4th year. I don't have a lot of Ev daylilies, I avoid them these days unless I learn they are hardy. But I have some really good ev daylilies.

Nancy, I apparently misnamed one, should have been Exotic Starfish, or maybe spellcheck overcorrected. I really like that one.

Thank you Kate! Pleasing to the Eye has been here several years, I really like it. Always seem to do well, opens well pretty early, nice looking blooms.

So many pretty ones Kay. Ashwood Still Night is my favorite. . Whip City and Cameroon Twister are next.
