I need help choosing a table and chairs for my dinette area. I have white kitchen cabinets, dark granite and wood floors. You can see the area where the table will be when you open the front door. See photos of livingroom, TV room and kitchen. What type of table would be a good choice to connect with the furniture I have? Do you think a copper top would work with stainless appliances? Metal base? Black or white?

The kitchen table needs to be not only beautiful but be able to take the day to day use. Below are some options, as your style is definitely leaning more traditional than anything else. This is what I did. I have cherry cabinets, a white island, and you can see the granite with this view. The brand is Fremarc.

Although the set above is pretty, I think have furniture all too much the same detracts from the style itself. Vary your style slightly, go with a glass table and metal bottom or all wood in a dark chocolate - there are lots of options out there.

I would do the metal base and glass top to tie into the living room you posted. The iron base will tie in your dark countertops. I also find glass really easy to maintain in a kitchen. Windex! I would do a rug of some sort to soften because metal and glass tables can look a little cold. I like the idea of copper. Look at www.arhaus.com for some cute iron base/copper top tables.

I made the post - the dining room set in the last picture
...it is Fremarc. Just my opinion...I hate glass topped dining tables. I like the idea of the iron bottom and copper topped one though. Good luck!

Thanks for your help. Who is the manufacturer of the flower table? I am looking for a round table to fill the space
