Would you accept this NEW Ceiling + Paint job?

Hi all, I started a renovation and asked for the popcorn ceiling to be removed as well as to have the walls smoothed out and painted. I already asked our contractor to re-sand the walls after the first paint job because it was VERY textured - I have attached an image of a spot that was redone where clearly some texture was missed again after sanding!

Our contractor promised that the walls would be super smooth from the beginning. Clearly the guys he hired are not paying attention. We keep bring up the same issues week after week.

Also after removing the popcorn ceiling we noticed this ripple on the ceiling throughout the living room which is very noticeable depending on the lighting.

Would you guys be okay with this? Any suggestions on how to address this if not?

I hate to "nitpick" but I can see these issues so clearly but I feel like our contractor is getting frustrated and the more his guys have to re-do sanding and painting the less effort they put into correcting the issue.

I'd love your thoughts!
