I’d plan for a regular sized fridge; I doubt the new appliances will last as long as your old ones, and I’d hate to be stuck with odd/expensive sizes. Also just one seating overhang and get it as close to the basement door as you can (the island looks like it’s hanging out of the kitchen). 30” cooktop and maybe you can fit wall ovens next to it.

I was planning on a column all refrigerator. You would bump up to the 30?? I do have the wall oven next to the cooktop, that is also how my current set up is. I do like it. So delete the overhang near the table or near the basement stairs?? How close to the door would you bring it??

I meant right next to the cooktop, on the same wall without turning the corner. Then you wouldn’t have a dead corner and you’d have more room for the island, and the island would make more sense (you don’t normally have a U shaped + island kitchen.)

I would lose that run of drawers under the wall oven though and the cabinet to the right of the wall oven. So a 17 inch cabinet and a run on 36 inch drawers

I only have 5 uppers and the 3 runs of drawers in the kitchen.
