I am no expert by any means. However, based on your photo comparing to other photos of rintzii, I would say it is not rintzii. I agree with you that the flowers seem too fuzzy.

I did a google search on "hoya with fuzzy flowers" and found a few. I would try that and see if the foliage matches too.

I understand there is also a good hoya identification group on Facebook. I don't do FB, but I've heard good things about that group. You may get a wider audience and opinions there.

Hoya Carnosa.. beautiful scented

Terri, the flowers pictured do not match carnosa. Carnosa doesn't produce fuzzy flowers. This is a carnosa bloom:

There are many, many, forms and cultivars of this species.

I would not presume to be able to name it with any certainty.

I would love to have them all!

I agree that there are many forms, but this was a plant ordered in years ago at the greenhouse. Both names are familiar so I believe I will be able to find an invoice of the plant we ordered.

I had that same hoya with the little white fuzz covered stars and pink centers. It was a hoya carnosa and it was my grandpas so it was old. It always was loaded with flowers and yes they are fuzzy. I’m pretty sure there are different types of it but ours were always fuzzy. It’s like really short fuzzy in your pic. But they are beautiful.
