A question about passionfruit

I'm posting this to a couple forums, and to the citrus forum, because I've found the input from there to be of value.
I had a few questions for those who are growing passionfruit, as I am considering potentially getting rid of a plant or two and replacing them with a passionfruit vine.
So my questions are this:
Has anyone grown one of these vines in a pot? Do they grow well potted? I was thinking it would be helpful to put a tomato cage in the pot to give it something to climb, and keep it contained. How big does a pot need to be for one?
Has anyone grown one indoors or in a greenhouse. (I've posted here before, but my growing area more mimics a greenhouse or conservatory environment than "indoors", and gets bright light all day with direct sun for about 8 hours a day in summer, between 5 and 6 in winter. Many other tropicals and citrus grow, and fruit, there well. ) Do they get too big for this? Or is it possible to keep them smaller and still get flowers/fruit? (I'm looking at a self-fertile variety from a greenhouse).
Would they grow ok in the same soil mix as a citrus tree, (mostly pumice, forest products, bark, etc.)? Or would the soil need to be amended?
I have grown many other plants over the years, but never passionfruit, and would love to replace some of my more decorative plants with one I can eat.
