Paint the coffee bar ? Trying to brighten the room green maybe ?

I separated a buffett and hutch to create a coffee bar . my house is old . lots of wood its dark to me ,

painted my walls a creamy white from the grey seen in photo . it helped but wondering if paint the coffee bar would help , considering green ? pic of going from mediym grey pain to almost white

I don't have a suggestion, but wanted to say that I love that you separated your buffet and hutch. It has never occurred to me to do this.

thanks . it works much better as i have a very small kitchen so i needed the storage the hutch provides and a place for the coffee pot and kettle that are used daily

Looks great. Now that it's up it would be a pain to paint properly. How about removeable wallpaper on the glass? inside

thanks for the suggestion , but i always depend on the lights inside the hutch wouldnt want to block or shade that light .. i wont mind the painting ,, picking a color is my greatest delemia always .

I don't see anything in these photos that would clash with green. So if you if like green, I would say go for it!
