Jay, a few years ago you sent me some seeds. I wonder if this was from those!

Probably not, but I don't remember what I sent. I have collected Teucrium seeds, but so far no germination.

To me it is a salvia.

Which species of Salvia is it to you?

This is interesting - I was hoping someone else had chimed in by now.

The flowers are a little hard to see against the white, but the leaves show up very well. I don't know what it is. The flowers look like Teuchrium perhaps but the leaves look like Salvia.

Irma, did you ever get any Agastache foeniculum Wil Blue Hyssop seeds from anyone? Do you grow any passionflowers?

Wil Blue Hyssop? I may have gotten some from you. Agastache, alas, seems not to like our climate here.

Passionflowers? Bought a few over the years, but they were not very long-lived... probably because I failed to plant them.

The Florida native, Passiflora suberosa "corkstem vine" ......

...pops up in my (large, rangy) yard. Here is a photo from June 2020 of zebra longwing butterflies (I guess all males) hovering near the vine growing throughout a low azalea bush. They are back again (but a month later) in the same protected spot.
