Exotic Flowers @ NY Botanical Garden

My sister shared this pic and she never knows the names of plants. I tried an image search and came up with several of the same flower, but nothing to identify it. Some of the images called it an orchid but I'm not too sure it is - almost looks like a tree of some sort. The NYBG website was zero help...
