BIZ dosing - How Much?

The instructions on Biz powder says HE machines use 1/2 cup (half a scoop).
That sounds like a lot for an HE front loader.
Does Biz not make suds?
I also have soft (natural soft) city water, do I reduce dose to 1/4 cup?
I also use 1/4 cup of Borax per load.

I have never used more than 2 Tablespoons of BIZ in our moderately hard water (avge 90 ppm) and that is with reducing the detergent a bit. Most often one Tablespoon is enough when i use it.

I would agree that 2 Tablespoons is enough as a booster. For soaking i would use a bit more. Yes, it can be very sudsing.
