This is an older Apps cultivar-I have several Apps very similar in size and color so not sure which one this is but the clumps have been so pretty-7/8 inch blooms

I cannot get to the tag because of the massive evening primrose behind it but this one has been pretty

Queen of Camelot has been good this year

Orange Velvet- I have three large clumps of this side by side. Beautiful Edings to the right

Blue Dolphin has been pretty

They all look superb! All that rain you got must be influencing the rebloom on those that have failed to do it in the past. My favorite of the clump/group shots is No Boys Allowed. Mine is in too much shade now, and only had two scapes this time. It's on the list to move to a sun spot this fall. My favorite of the rebloomers is My Utmost for His Highest. Mountain Violet always catches my eye.

Great stuff Kate. Heartbeat of Heaven, Shuffle the Deck and Creature in the Night are my favorites of these. Also, No Boys Allowed and White Eyes Pink Dragon are always nice to see.

Great bunch Kate. MOUNTAIN VIOLET really gets my attention. I think it will have to go on my list to aquire. Your HEARTBEAT OF HEAVEN certainly looks darker than mine. Mine blooms much lighter and has melted by Noon.

Debra, I agree. I think the 25 inches of rain I got really rejuvenated the lilies into rebloom-even some that never have! No Boys Allowed has my least favorite form but the colors work on it.

Julia, I was glad to find the ID on that one! It has been so pretty this year (what the deer did not eat).

Brad, those were some of my favorites too! But i have learned I have too many purples of all shapes and sizes!

David, Heartbeat of Heaven is in partial shade all day. Doesn’t help with multiplying but the color is wonderful!! I think you will like Mountain Orchid (yes I had to go back and edit the name! Mountain Violet always comes to mind when I look at it!!) That picture was taken at 6:45 p.m.

Wow, Kate Kate, so much still happening in gardens, just lovely. A couple favorites today…..of course No Boys Allowed……I love Dixie Highway.

What a great shot of No Boys Allowed and I love the way the anthers spiral on Hakuna Matata..............I wonder if your yellow could possibly be Lisa Apps Sybrant. It looks similar to mine which has large sunfast blooms on tallish scapes. The form may be a little different though or not. I adore mine.........So your Apache Sunrise survived winter? Mine always had such short scapes, but then it was in a pot. The color is beautiful............Maryl

Lots of beauties--some of which I hadn't seen before. Sarah Christine is the large blooming yellow. Heartbeat of Heaven can be quite inconsistent here.

Maryl, the yellow is Sarah Christine, as Mantis said. Sorry, it is labeled but hard to see in the picture. I take all my photos with my phone and label as I go. I can easily take the label off later. I remember your Lisa Apps Sybrant-it is beautiful. Apache Sunrise made it through the arctic freeze with no problems. The reblooms have been larger and flatter than first bloom.

Mantis, HOH is in two places in the garden. This clump in the partial shade is the more consistent of the two.

You still have so much going on. No Boys Allowed, Shuffle the Deck, and Mountain Orchid are my favorites.

The primrose-hidden one is very attractive with a double edge. Mike Grossman is getting some nice intros, if Queen of Camelot is typical.

What a pretty post, Kate! No boys allowed is stunning. Your White Eyes Pink Dragon is a lot darker than here...very pretty. I like Shuffle The Deck and Perplexing Plum is very pretty; you can't complain with three rebloom scapes in its first year...it sounds as if it is quite happy.

Thanks for the heads up on the yellow Sarah Christine Kate and Mantis. It looked darker in your picture then on the database. I have a few Apps daylilies and they seem to do well here, so I'm interested in seeing more....................Maryl

Kay, WEPD is under a tree-one that has exploded in growing, probably due to the watering of the nearby daylily bed. That is one of the trees coming down as it is now too close to power lines. And yes, I must give credit to a new plant that is reblooming in a pot!

Maryl, a thousand pardons!!! I totally misunderstood your identification statement-you were talking about the big orange clump I could not ID. It is a very large orange nearly the same color as Orange Velvet. I indicated it was an Apps but after looking at old garden notes I may be wrong about that based on some garden plant moves I made (Imagine that!!)
