Bahamas vacation rental..

Walls are pickled pine ..ceiling is pine ..thinking doing ceiling in a sky blue light hint of turquoise, like the water and sky are there. Find the ceiling wrong… wish to change light fixture to multiple basket lighting ..will this work.. what do you suggest? Kitchen living room all open

Absolutely. Do it. I'm in the British Virgin Islands. All doors & windows are a seaglass blue and exterior porches etc, a seaglass green. The Benjamin Moore 'color of the year' is Agean Teal (2136-40), which I wish I'd seen before I painted. If you find it too dark, it will come in a lighter hue.
