Can it be peeled off?

When you said you reached out to the company, did you mean Blanco or the company you bought the sink from? I’d try the seller first, then Blanco if that doesn’t work. Also, when you said ”reaching out”, what does that mean? Did you phone them? Calling works much better than email. If you can’t call the seller, call Blanco customer service (Blanco is 800-451-5782, and have your model number and color ready to tell them).

In any case, you could also just remove the logo entirely. There was a thread about how to remove the Kohler sink logo. Idk if it would work on the Blanco logo, but give it a try if you don’t want to wait for the seller or Blanco to send you a new sink.

”The logo is actually a sticker with very strong adhesive to make sure it stays in place for a long time. However, to remove the old one, we recommend using either olive oil or peanut butter, as the oils from either one will break down the adhesive and make it very easy to pull off. The peanut butter can be spread right on, however, a paper towel soaked in the oil and then placed over the sticker will work as well.”

Yes, the crookedness would bug me. Not sure if it would bug me enough to send the sink back or whether I'd just get used to it and not even notice it anymore, though.

I reached out via email directly to Blanco - hoping they would offer a solution. I do not want to send the sink back since it seems like such a hassle with the giant box and all. I wish the company did better overall with customer care.

Every single one of my undermount Kohler bath sinks has a crooked logo and it's stamped on not a sticker. I know others had the same thing with their Kohler logos. Does it bother me? It did at first but I don't even notice it now.

I wish I could see the sticker in your pic, but I can’t. I will say, yes it would bother me. I JUST received our Kohler Farm House sink yesterday and sure enough, the Kohler label is crooked. My OCD tendencies won’t allow me to keep it that way though. I phoned the plumbing company and let them know. I also called Kohler with intent to request a new sticker, but didn’t complete the call because I didn’t have the model info handy. I’m sure it will get fixed, but yes it bothers me. These sinks aren’t inexpensive and I don’t understand why the stickers consistently come crooked on customers sinks. I did an internet search and found the above mentioned thread about the Kohler label…I laughed and was glad I wasn’t the only one. If it was meant to be removed, it wouldn’t be applied with such strong adhesive. Why not make a template that centers the logo perfectly. Oh well, this is a small fish in the whole scheme of things! And I LOVE your tag name…..the STRESS of a reno is overwhelming some days. 🤪 Good luck!

Hey Peg, I understand 100%! (BTW see if you can click the picture I posted, sometimes the full image gets cut off but when you click it you can see the full image enlarged). The company sent me a new sticker and apologized for taking a long time to get back to me ( about 3 weeks with no response to any of my emails!) Finally after writing poor reviews on trustplot they answered via email with no information on how to remove the old sticker or anything. Either-way that this point I am not liking the company or the customer care the lack in so I plan on removing the sticker permanently as soon as I install this sink. ...why do they think I would want to re-attach their brand name after all this headache?? Kohler on the other hand is usually very good at getting back to people with solutions from my experience, try reaching out via email? sometimes it takes longer to call them hahah!

Dont try to remove before talking with the manufacturer. It looks sloppy.

It may seem petty, but you paid a lot for that sink.

I don't understand why you would want to keep a sticker on a sink.

If it's totally symmetrical, you can install it with the sticker on the user's side. Then you wouldn't see it.

But yeah, it's annoying. You should be bothered.

Just had a brand new Blanco sink installed yesterday. The sticker was crooked and yes, it drove me nuts. THANKFULLY, I removed it in less than 4 minutes by using a hair dryer to soften the adhesive then loosened a corner and kept heating it as I very slowly pulled it back. The remaining adhesive was so minimal and came off quickly with peanut butter. NO harsh chemicals and no scraping tool were needed.

Had this exact problem with a Blanco sink. Will try removing it!

No, it wouldn't bother me at all.......I know that after a few months, I wouldn't notice it any more.
