I would stay with one series throughout if at all possible.

+2. I might change my mind if the bath room windows are inside the shower and they are not ventilated well. Direct water and condensation can kill a wood window in little time.

@toddinmn - One bathroom window is indeed in the shower (fixed), the other above the vanity (awning). That's why the dealer recommended 100 series.

WoW, do you think I should go with Milgard Ulta? I definitely don't want Andersen 100 for all the windows. On the other hand, I prefer the look of Andersen E sliding/French doors.

I did the 400 series black casement window. (one in the bathroom and one in the kitchen)

I also have a 400 series in wood interior/vinyl exterior on a bay window. I got that one w/the special heat proof glass or something? wow. what a difference when the sun hits that glass.

this is a super old pic, but it's all I have to show the window. compared to the glass in the door, the window always stays cool. I got the regular wood (Fir) and I stained it myself

Id go with all all E Series except the bathroom window. I wish I could give you an opinion on the the Milgard but I have zero experience with it and it seldom comes up in conversations. Everythng east of the rockies for some reason is very unrepresented by windows Pros in this forum and many others. I tend to like the Anderson A-Series more than the E but have minimul experiece in both. I always encourage to see the windows in person, open and operate them . Not always the best way to judge a window but quite often things

become evident.
