Not much new lately

Wow, the garden looked so great just a week ago, but suddenly there are many plants that have finished bloom, or on the last ones. I do still see some rebloom scapes, if it would rain might would see more

I'm jealous of that perfect Soli Deo Gloria bloom. I have two pretty clean blooms today, but they don't look as pretty as yours. I didn't photograph them because I have dried mushies with pods on it. I hope the babies won't have the splotchiness. Morning Fog is very pretty, and Wizard's Wish looks good. You are ahead of me on Wizard's Wish too. Mine won't start blooming for five or six days. I love the cat photos! Mocha looks so cute as she wakes herself up. Saffron and Elvis are playing it cool.

Soli Deo Gloria is so pretty. and so is Morning Fog. The cats look very content. Elvis is a pretty one. I am partial to gray cats so I really like Elvis.

It looks like when you went to the cat store you said: "I'll have one of each sir". Aren't they all wonderful...............Morning Fog is a beaut. I'll have to look that one up. I had Solie Do Gloria on my list for awhile. Couldn't get it when it was available, and from many people's blotchiness reports maybe it's just as well.................Maryl

Morning Fog appears to be the winner here!! Soli de Gloria is pretty when it is good and a bummer when it is bad which is often in my garden. What great companions you have!! Mocha looks like a fur ball!!

Debra, I wonder why Soli splotches so much for other people, but in the 2 years now I have had it most all the blooms look good. Maybe because I have it close to my house? I like it so far, but maybe I have just been lucky so far.

Everyone likes Morning Fog, it blooms well, I like it, but something made it just spectacular that morning.

Maryl, when I got Soli, everyone talked about it being a great plant. Only did I hear about splotchiness and slowness to multiply after I got it, or I probably would not have it. But it has gone from 2 fans to 4 since I got it spring 2020, and has been so pretty.

Kay, Elvis is the stray I finally adopted formally and had neutered a year ago. I had always felt he belonged to someone, he was so affectionate and stayed at our house only part time. He kept coming up bloodied from fights, and I when I thought it looked like someone shot him with a bb gun, I took him in. He has not left here since. Kate, in winter Mocha is definitely a round furball!

Nancy - About Soli, maybe Kate and I have heavy dew most mornings and you don't. I know I haven't had ANY increase on it since last year. And yesterday it dropped all three buds it had set. I doubt that I will keep it. I like its child, Blood of the Martyrs, much better. It doesn't have the splotchiness problems and sets seed in high temps.

Debra, I definitely have dew, I am just thinking since it is on the northeast side of the house, close to the house, it may not get hit by as much dew?
