I love how you have pruned it to this shape. It is very lovely. I so wished that I could grow a lacecap hydrangea here in Edmonton - the closest that I can get is a Quick Fire, which is my favourite :-)

Just to clarify though it is not a lacecap (but to be honest I am not 100% sure that it is F&I) but it is a panicle....which you can grow in that wonderful city of Edmonton :)

I even wanted to grow some of those viburnums that have white lacecap-like flowers just to get something like that in my yard!!! LOL! I am serious!!!

@ostrich you have so so so many choices when it comes to selecting a panicle hydrangea and they are the most low temp hardy for hydrangeas.

rouge21, you are right! But I like this delicate looking flower here, and most paniculatas don't have that! LOL! That's why I am really a big fan of Quick Fire... :-)
