Two days with rain, more blooms

Two inches of much needed rain the past few days and finally some blooms worth a photo.

Sailor Sky started blloming this week, it is at least two weeks early. Alot of buds here, hoping for a good clump shot at some point.

Her Best Bloomers started two days ago, such a striking color and always well budded.

Kissed by Moonlight is doing well despite the fact it was added last fall. earlier blooms were destroyed by the weather, a nice bloom yesterday. Thanks Debra, for sharing!

A few spectacular blooms on Upgrade today. Maybe the rain or cooler temps brought the spots out on all of todays flowers.

A poly bloom today on Bela Lugosi.

When My Sweetheart Returns just started blooming this weekend.

I managed to get a photo of Still the One between rain showers yesterday.

Nice group. I too like Still The One. I guess your daylilies love the rain.

The rain here is making up for a season that otherwise has deficiencies caused by thrips and evidently spring freezes. Does When My Sweetheart Returns rebloom for you? The flowers look plump on everything.

When my Sweetheart Returns has not rebloomed for me. It’s been here 4-5 seasons, it does put up alot of scapes and appeciates some shade.

Kissed by Moonlight is looking good - much darker in color than it ever looked here! Upgrade looks fantastic with all those spots. Her Best Bloomers has such rich color, and I like the group shot of Hearts Abound.

Are the spots on Upgrade supposed to be the norm? It certainly is unusual with the spots........The bud count on Sailor Sky looks good. Lots of blooms left for you on that one......Bela Lugosi is that deep dark purple that looks so good. I wish it had had more heat tolerance here because the form was so nice..............Maryl

Maryl, Upgrade has spots on every bloom but they are not as prominent as the blooms I saw today, I’m guessing its weather dependent. We have had alot of rain this past week, wondering if that made the difference

We got 2 inches yesterday too, finally! Nice flowers! I like Still the One, and Bela Lugosi is so dark and velvety. Upgrade is very pretty, and I also like the bitone look of Kissed by Moonlight
