We had chipmunks digging some holes around our bird feeder this season(that was installed probably 28 years ago). I told hubby that this may loosen the feeder pole. Well, today after the wind, the entire feeder pole was knocked flat down on the ground. We may have to move it. Yet, wondering if anyone out there would recommend a sturdy feeder pole? Thanks and sigh..... We also have a wider metal squirrel baffle that the squirrels have never figured out how to get up. Some poles recommend these oblong, longer baffles which to me would be easier to jump to the top of it & get to the feeders. Our wider baffle when they tried, they slid off.
