Seedling leaves sometimes don't look quite like the more mature leaves. For those to be the exact same "weeds" invading your 2 pots is prb'ly unlikely.

They're trees of some kind. And I’d say they're the same. What size are the leaves? Mulberry?

Looks like a Mulberry seedling to me, too. Edited: I think it could still be your Rhodochiton, though. After looking at Google photos it seems that leaves on younger plants can look quite different from leaves on more mature plants.

Where did you purchase your seeds from? Is it possible they were mislabeled?
