The orchid is 3 - 4 years old and lives inside on my kitchen table. It does need to be repotted but I waited too long and it bloomed (my fault - I'm scared to report it lol). I water it weekly (3 weeks with orchid fertilizer at 50% strength and 1 week plain tap water).

does it get brighter than shown... im wondering if it needs more light ... it takes a lot of energy to bloom ...

to me.. that seems like a lot of fert.. for such a small pot ... even at half strength ...

just repot it after bloom.. fear is not a variable.. just do it ... properly ... for sure.. there is no room left in that pot.. and im not sure i see any media ... so you are almost growing it hydroponically.. and im not even sure you can do that with orchids ... in other words.. it might end up being worse if you dont .... soooo ....just do it ...

It is very dark this year - which is odd because I have not moved it and I haven't had this problem in the past. I have been trying to move it to sunny spots but I don't really have a sunnier place to move it to where my toddlers won't get into it.
I know I REALLY need to repot - any advice on when I should do it? Those flowers stay up forever lol. Should I go ahead while the flowers are out or should I wait til they fall??

That is an odd thing to happen and difficult to diagnos Odd because it’s one leaf in the middle, normally you would have markings on the newest leaf or the oldest leaf or on all of the leaves. Its also an even line around the whole edge not just at the tip.

I don’t think it is watering, light, or fertilzer, becauce that would affect the whole plant evenly. Could something have happend to that leaf last year and it is just starting to show now? Think about the leaf when it first appears, it is folded so all of the edges are together. So maybe something happened then and now it is aging and showing the damage?

Have you checked for bugs under the leaves? Scale like to line up on the edges sometimes, but again, I think you would also see that on all of the leaves.

I'm not sure if anything has happened to the leaf - there are actually 3 leaves with the yellow edges. However, it isn't all of them. The good news is that it doesn't seem to be getting any worse and I see no signs of scale. So, for now I'm just watching and seeing if anything happens!
