Odd to get mostly female flowers at first. Most produce a few dozen male flowers first before females unless you have a hybrid gynoecious variety which produces mostly female flowers, but it wouldn't explain the 2 weeks with only male flowers.

So was the two weeks with mostly male flowers during a heat wave with high temperatures? Cucumbers have two sets of genes, one set for female flowers and another for male flowers. Environmental conditions will cause a change in DNA which make a flower a male or female, and a change in temperatures, daylight or soil conditions all will effect the DNA methylation levels and produce more male flowers.

High temperatures over 65 degrees will produce more male flowers, and the same when soil conditions are arid. If your pot is hot and starts to dry out you'll have mostly male flowers also. So Mulch your pot, top and sides to keep the roots cooler and water every day. But you have 6 plants packed into on pot, and in the ground the horizontal root system of a cucumber plant will spread out the distance of the vines for nutrients and water so I suggest a water drip system to make sure there is plenty available.

The males have plenty of pollen. It doesn't take much. I routinely pollinate several female squash blossoms with one male blossom. I mean, how much pollen can a bee carry?

I don't know anything about cuke pollination, but I would consider saving some of that female pollen (in the fridge?) for when the male flowers come out......

Sorry about the misunderstanding becky. The DNA change to produce the correct set of genes for each flower happens long before you see the flower and I refer to science as my source. But anyway you have a bunch of Females, great and studies have shown one male is sufficient to pollinate four to six female flowers..... if the bee has a big bucket.

Is that one bee landing once on a male flower can carry away enough pollen to pollinate four to six female flowers? That's an interesting statistic, but the question is how much pollen is in a male flower. My idle guess is that if the bee makes several trips to that male flower, many more female flowers could be pollinated and, by hand pollination, so could many female flowers.
