Faux brick would look nice.

Pretty cabinets and pretty floors! Create some contrast so it all doesn't blend together. Your top inspo picture has the contrast from the black window and the black counter. White subway would never be my choice for your kitchen.

Team white subway tile! It coordinates with your kitchen, leaves endless decor options for you down the road, is timeless and classic. You won’t tire of it.

Love your kitchen! Big fan of custom inset cabinets and perfect for an older home. Have you looked at anything with more contrast?

I ordered blue tiles from Fireclay - a color I'd seen in Spain and really wanted. My thinking was they weren't the "in" thing, so they would never be "dated".

All white kitchens have been very popular, and if that's your dream, go for it. But if there's another color you like, consider it.

Here is a close up of our countertops. Would I be crazy to do a brick veneer backsplash like in this photo. I kind of love it.

I like the tile in the second picture you posted 3 hours ago. Your floor is beautiful and I think that tile will have a classic look with some elegance. The brick is nice too but a little rustic looking with your cabinets, counters and floor.

I like the brick veneer. I think if it really speaks to you and doesn't look out of place with the rest of the house, then go for it!

Thank you so much everyone! Unfortunatley, a color backsplash just does not appeal to me. Doing a pattern with the subway tile above the stove is something I've considered! Right now I feel like subway tile would be a safe bet and brick would be daring and more exciting!

Look at all the options for installing standard subway tiles. They’re classic for a reason. You can stack them or install them vertically for a modern twist. I understand about not wanting color.

Your kitchen is so charming! You hit it out of the park with your cabinet and counter whites. I would do a soft blue or green subway or the brick veeneer that you like. I’m considering brick for my backsplash also.

LOVE YOUR KITCHEN!! So so soo pretty!! I think a handmade Chloe tile would look beautiful. I’d stay white for sure. But possibly something a bit more organic/handcrafted.

I recommend Winchester Tile Company www.winchestertiles.com often and your kitchen strikes me as a perfect match. They have a gazillion options in terms of size, color - I just picked two photos at random: (I'm not suggesting the quilt tiles that came along with the white photo). The second color, by the way, is Hibiscus.

We did white but a different shape Somoma tile has a ton of neat shapes.
