Growing Tomatoes

My weird tomato entry :)

My first few Stupice finally looked ripe enough to pick yesterday... I tried to pull one, then the other, ... none of them would release from the stem! I finally pulled hard and realized the problem: it was a 3-way tomato that was completely fused. I managed to break off the whole cluster. :p

I've had those in the past too. Mine were always "twins", but I've never had triplets. Not sure what causes that. I know there was a thread on this last year.

I had a number of twins last year; no idea why, same as catherine. Both Sunpeach and Shimmer spawned them for us last year.

These were fused together directly around the top of the stem of the flower cluster, so that I could only remove them in tact by breaking the stem. They were tasty though! :)
