Hi all! Our dog has convinced us we need to get a runner for the stairs in our townhouse. I'm wondering what sort of continuity we should have from the runner right inside the front door through the runner on the stairs to the runner we have in the upstairs hallway. Should all three be the same pattern/colorway? Should they be not the same but matching? Should they not be matching but complementary? I haven't found any inspiration photos that help - either they don't show the whole flow or they do but all three areas use literally the same rug, which I don't want to do - so I'd appreciate any guidance! Thank you :)
