Thanks clt3! I had forgotton all about Sur la Table! I checked out the link and while the Nyssa is close, the one I fell in love with didn't have ridges. I scoped out the rest of the website as well as Fortessa's site and it was more similar to the Bistro by Fortessa, although I still don't think that was it. If I can't find a closer match, I will keep this in mind though for sure!

@mountainjuls, lol, I thought of Sur la Table because we bought the Bistro set for my son and daughter in law last Christmas. Then i saw the other one and the handle was a little more round!

Thanks all! I did browse at Replacements after the suggstion. Nope, I also scoped out Mikasa to no avail. It def wasn't sterling, but thanks for the suggestion. Because I couldn't be sure of where I saw it, I don't feel comfortable in asking the prior neighbor after all this time has passed. Perhaps it was at a restaurant instead? Which makes me wonder if it was indeed Fortessa as suggested by clt3? How much can I trust me memory over a fleeting sighting over 1 yr ago? Drinks may have also been served at this lunch, and always at restaurants so then there's that as well. Yikes, I sound either old or a lush, I'm in my 40's but fuzzy memories can be the worst tricksters.

I'm going to just order a set of both Fortessa's- Bistro and Nyssa and just let them duke it out in my hand. My only concern is that the Nyssa states hollow hande and while DW safe, it shouldn't be soaked. Should I be concerned about water getting inside?

This has vertical ridges where your drawing has none but the overall shape is similar. Dates back to the 1950's and was on a page of "French" flatware ... if that helps.

Thanks suezbell, I did see that Reed and Barton pattern but they don't carry it on their own site. Maybe made exclusively for Neiman Marcus? It is beautiful as well and similar to the Nyssa pattern. Gosh, you all are just great!

Don't rule out the 3 stores(online), that I listed. Some of their prices are reasonable.
