Converting family area and balcony into small 9 * 10 Bedroom

Hello All,

We needed to add a Bedroom lower level, currently there is Family Are + Dining Area and Balcony with French window.

1. 10 Ft * 9 Ft , total area can this be converted into bedroom with attach bathroom .

there is a Column/pillar which cannot be removed . washroom walls can be removed. there is existing

fresh door of 6 .10 ft if it can be reused with smaller dimension also good. washroom can be moved to balconly if needed.

This house already constructed and needs to be remodeled to accommodate a extra bedroom.

Thanks

Chand

Usually a bedroom is on the first floor to accommodate someone that cannot use stairs. I don't see how that small of a room/bathroom would be handicap accessible. Would this bathroom also be convenient for visitors since I don't see a powder room?

This looks to be somewhere other than the U.S. and maybe flat plate construction. If it were the U.S., minimum size of a bedroom is 7'x10', so you can not achieve that in a 9'x10' block, when you want to still include the Powder Room, which then will not have direct access to guests on this floor. Also, the type of balcony construction, whether you can enclose with walls, and how much leeway you have in moving plumbing around in flat plate construction may hinder your plans.
