Well- it’s happened. (Is there a word for someone who raises monarch’s- a monarch rearer?) A monarch rearers’s worst nightmare. I’ve spotted a tachnid fly on milkweed. I’m assuming where there’s one there’s many more. And I’m assuming they’re always looking for their next victim.

What can I do about this? Is there anything That can be done? Obviously insecticide is out of the question. Picking flies off by hand is not exactly feasible. Is there some type of tachnid fly bait and trap?
